Modern practices
are to be disseminated to the
fish farmers in the State through
the extension machinery. It
would be the Department's constant
endeavor to promote private
fish farmers in increasing the
production of fish and fish
seed. All these practices shall
be environment friendly. The
potential of the State shall
be explored with the view to
achieve not only self-sufficiency
in the production of fish in
the State but also to export
it to the neighboring states
and countries
